Spring 2018 NZ-AUS

Today was our day to head to Milford sound. Two hours into the ride, our tour director received word that the roads were closed due to snow so we turned around and headed back to Queenstown were we were able to have a day of exploration.

Our journey from Rotorua began at 5:45 am where we were off to the Rotorua Airport for our flight to Queenstown. We took a gondola ride up the mountain and had dinner at the Skyline Restaurant. Kiwi Martinis to celebrate Jeff's Birthday!

Packed and repacked again...had last Mexican food  (for 18 days) lunch with Eddie and Mia. Met up with Jeff and Lisa for dinner... We are waiting to board! The Adventure Begins!!

Packing, weighing and trying to figure out what to take! I'm at 48.7 lbs. and I don't have the toiletries in the bag.. Guess, I will have to abandon a pair of pants or two...Can't give up the shoes!
